This is the largest fireplace screen I have ever created. I have about 60 hours in this project. I was given a sketch by a designer and this was for her home. The tree bark effect was done by weld patterns. All the tree limbs and pine cones were hand forged. This screen is 7 feet wide by almost 6 feet tall and has a tempered glass insert. It sits in front of a giant two sided gas log fireplace and the purpose is to deflect some of the heat back into another area of the house. The finish is a bronze patina with dark, oil rubbed highlights with green verde patina on the pine needles.
